Although Yu Shuxin graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore and did not come from a traditional acting background, she has never been confined by the limitations of formal training. Instead, she brings her unique personality and deep passion for acting into every role she plays. Whether it was the double-faced spy Qing She in The Border Town’s Prodigal, the Han princess, Lady Liu in The Advisors Alliance, or Tian Jingzhi in the recently popular My Amazing Boyfriend 2, she portrays each character with a natural and effortless charm.

In the recently aired My Amazing Boyfriend 2, Yu Shuxin delivered a spot-on performance as Tian Jingzhi, capturing the character’s playful and quirky charm. Every gesture was full of youthful sweetness and spirit, and her expressions were detailed, natural, and never over-the-top. She portrayed Tian Jingzhi’s innocence, cleverness, and mischief with just the right touch.

However, playing such a whimsical and lovable character is no easy task. Striking the right balance is like handling a hot potato—it’s tricky. Tian Jingzhi is a multi-layered character: at times childlike and adorable, at other times wildly imaginative, occasionally dramatic and exaggerated, and even deeply emotional in intense crying scenes.
