What is Cloud Private Screening and why is it important for the broadcast of Speed and Love?

1. Cloud Private Screening Support for Jiang Mu: As we know, Speed and Love, originally planned for a Q4 release, will be airing soon.

2. Yu Shuxin’s Mainland fanclub has opened the purchase for iQIYI Cloud Private Screening Support to help support Jiang Mu’s character and the broadcast performance of Speed and Love.

3. International fans are encouraged to join this initiative and participate in the cloud private screening purchase together, in order to contribute to the successful broadcast results of Jiang Mu and Speed and Love.

Cloud Private Screening is a new service from iQIYI that allows users to book a digital screening room, share VIP membership access, and watch exclusive content together in real time with multiple viewers. This service is also referred to as cloud booking or cloud theatre.

Within the Chinese drama industry, cloud booking is often used as one of the broadcast support strategies by production teams, agencies, artists, or studios to help improve a drama’s initial performance. Fan communities also commonly participate in cloud booking supports to help boost viewership performance for their favorite artists’ dramas.

Cloud booking serves as free promotional activity, offering VIP access to passerby audiences, non-fans, and general users who may be interested in trying the drama but do not have a VIP membership. The more people who join and watch the drama, the stronger the boost to its heat index popularity and Yunhe average viewership.

Cloud private screenings can effectively improve a drama’s performance metrics by driving early engagement, increasing interactions on-platform, generating hype, and expanding long-tail marketing impact. This leads to greater reach and higher engagement from a broader audience.

Terminology

1. 1. Heat index popularity: A proprietary and internal popularity metric used by streaming platforms to measure the broadcast performance of a series.

   2. Yunhe: A third-party viewership data provider tracking effective playback volume of television dramas across multiple Chinese platforms.

We will help you participate in buying the cloud booking. The new goal is 3000 yuan to be able to book 100 seats for Speed and Love cloud booking. There is no minimum donation requirement, and you may donate any amount you wish. By participating, you are directly helping promote the drama by sponsoring a VIP membership giveaway on iQIYI for Chinese audiences who need access to watch Speed and Love.

How Cloud Booking works?

For those who are still wondering what cloud booking is and how it works, here’s a simple explanation:

Cloud booking works like this: fans chip in to “book” cloud private screening rooms on iQIYI for the drama. The fanclub will take the money we contribute and open more screening rooms under Jiang Mu’s support project. Each room counts as real views, engagement, and hype for the drama on the platform, which directly boosts Speed and Love’s performance numbers.

We don’t need to personally enter every room to watch. What matters most is the purchase itself, because every booking is recorded as broadcast support. The fanclub handles the booking and data reporting to make sure all numbers go toward Jiang Mu.

So what do we do? • We contribute our share • Fanclub buys cloud rooms for Jiang Mu • Platform data goes up → better ranking and more exposure

Basically: this helps the show look more popular when it airs, so iQIYI will push it more, and more people will end up watching Speed and Love.

Another important part — cloud booking is like sponsoring VIP memberships for viewers in China who want to watch the drama. It means more people get access to watch, which helps the show’s popularity grow faster.

For reference: other dramas that reach 10k–30k heat index also used huge cloud booking support. Their fans gathered around 100k–150k cloud bookings, equal to 100k–150k VIP viewers supporting their drama. One cloud booking is around 15 RMB, so 150k bookings require at least 2.25 million RMB. Some fandoms even spent more than that.

Right now, we’re helping the fanclub reach the goal of 1,218 RMB, still a very small part of that big target. If international fans can join even a little, it will mean a lot. We really hope many can help and support Jiang Mu together
