BLANK x YU SHUXIN Q&A

B: You’re from Shanghai—how do you see the city through your own eyes?

Y: Yes, I’m a Shanghainese. To me, Shanghai is definitely a very fashionable city. Everywhere you go feels like a perfect photo spot.

B: Do you think you’re similar to the common impression of a “Shanghai girl”? Or are you quite different?

Y: A bit of both. I can be like that when I’m being playful and affectionate—but when it comes to getting things done, I’m more fast-paced and intense. So, not entirely.

B: After acting in several TV series, is there any character that left a deep impression on you? Why?

Y: Tian Jingzhi left the most impression on me. It felt like I was completely immersed in the film. I couldn’t recover even after the filming was finished and I was reluctant to let go.

B: Do you think you’re more charming when you smile or when you keep a straight face?

Y: When I smile, for sure—haha—it’s more approachable.

B: How would you describe your usual style when it comes to fashion?

Y: I wear all kinds of things—it really depends on my mood.

B: This time, we gave you a dual-role setup—two very different characters. We didn’t reveal the ending to the audience. In your opinion, why would the assassin want to kill the lover’s twin sister?

Y: Maybe there’s a twist—like only one of them can survive. If he doesn’t kill the sister, then the lover (the older twin) will die. And since the killer loves the older sister… (just my wild guess!)

B: 2018 is almost over—how would you sum up your year? Did you achieve any of your small goals?

Y: I just hope my drama airs soon!!!

B: Share one of your most unforgettable moments from this year.

Y: My birthday—that’s coming up very soon!
